Our Background

International Engine Parts, Inc. began providing products and services to the aerospace aftermarket industry in 1964. With a vision to be a world leader, IEP expanded our business to include offering a broad range of turbine engine parts and services for aviation (GE J79, GE J85, Allison/RR T-56, Lycoming T-53 and Allison/RR TF-41), and marine (GE LM2500) and industrial based applications (GE LM1500 , GE LM2500, Lycoming T-53 and Allison/RR 401).  This includes applications for jet turbine, gas generators, gas compressors, marine propulsion and offshore oilrigs.

IEP’s worldwide presence began on December 26, 1974, when International Engine Parts Overseas (IEPO), also a California company, was established to meet the demand of rapidly growing overseas markets. In August 1991, the companies merged and the name became IEP/IEPO.   By 1999, the Company successfully established marketing representatives in 29 foreign countries worldwide.

IEP entered the industrial gas compression industry in 1994 after delivering a natural gas burning LM1500 engine, converted from a J79-8 jet gas turbine engine, to Southern California Gas Company.  Since then, IEP has supported the gas turbine power generation industrial market by supplying OEM licensed repair facilities with engine spare parts, major components and services.

Most recently eight of IEP LM1500 aero derivative engines were delivered to a Turbine Power Generation packaging facility in Corona, CA.   Two of the eight 10 mw power generators are now providing electrical power in Benin, West Africa.

And, IEP expanded its parts and service distribution for the Avco Lycoming’s 1 mw gas power turbine generation package and the 5 mw Allison 501. Currently, a 1 mw turbine power generation plant is providing electrical power in Belize.

IEP’s corporate offices and warehouse facilities are located in Santa Paula, California – only 2 miles from the Santa Paula Airport and the Aviation Museum of Santa Paula.  We also have a 60,000 square feet repair facility located less than a mile from Hill AirForce Base in Clearfield, Utah.
